9 Day trip Morocco highlights

Day 1: arrival day in Marrakech :

Arrival into Marrakech Menara airport,driver will be there  to pick you up from airport to hotel.Overnight in Riad Bahia salam. Breakfast is included

Day 2: Marrakech-Casablanca-Rabat:

Today, After breakfast, meet driver and drive to the mosque Hassan second. You will be taken in guided group tour for mosque visit. Then drive to Rabat city for the night in hotel Flowertown, breakfast is included

Day 3: Rabat-Volubilis-Fes city:

Pick up at 8h30am from your accommodation and meet your local guide who is going to show you the city of Rabat visiting Oudaya kasbah, the shrine of the Kings afterwards drive east direction via the agricultural area of Meknes to reach Volubilis Roman archeological site in Meknes region. Here, you'll be given a interesting historical visit of the site by certified local guide. You're going to enjoy these well preserved mosaics that date back to 150 years BC, each mosaic floor has an amazing story to hear. This walking tour is 1,5hours. Overnight in hotel barcello  breakfast is included

Day 4: Fes city discovery:

The journey starts at 9am after breakfast, you're going to explore the city of Fes starting your discovery from 20th century section where your hotel is situated through 14th century where royal Palace is. local guide will tell you a wonderful History of each aspect you stop at during this tour, he will walk you through Jewish section nearby the king palace then, drive to viewpoint for stunning old city view. You'll stop to visit the pottery factory outside of old medina, you'll be impressed by hard work the skilled local people do to make all tiles and blue ceramics. After that, you're heading to enter old city from one of its gates, the first aspect is dyers area, then metal work area, Tannery where they still make leather products in traditional way. There are lots of options for your leather gifts if you are looking for one. There will be stop for lunch in one of the beautiful restaurants of the medina. After little bit of time in the restaurant, you carry on your walking tour to visit Attarine Quranic School which is one of the best historical sites in Fes. Then stop by the oldest university in World Al qaraouine mosque, which has been converted to a mosque today. You'll pass by the shrine of the founder of the city (Mouley Idriss  the second). Once you are done with the city tour you will be picked up from blue gate and drive back to hôtel to relax. 5h of city visit. 1 hour break for lunch.  Same Hotel Barcello.

Day 5: Fes-Merzouga (Erg Chebbi):

Departure must be early around 6h30am in order to be on Sand dunes before the sunset. Today is wonderful long driving Journey, which will take you via the middle atlas mountains and part of the high atlas mountains, you will cross several small cities and tiny Berber villages such as city of  Imozzer, Ifrane, Midelt and beautiful Ziz velley in Errachidia province. There will be few stops for photos and a lunch break in one of towns by the road. Once you arrive the desert, Merzouga région, you will be welcomed with cup of sweet ment tea in the kasbah and you'll admire such beautiful golden sand dunes situated nearby kasbah yasmina. Once you check into your desert camp, then you will go out for camel ride on Sand dunes to watch sunset, before you will be back for dinner in the camp. Overnight in Yasmina Desert camp nearby the kasbah yasmina. On HB.  today is the longest Journey of the tour which is 8hours of drive. Breakfast+ dinner are included

Day 6: Merzouga:

After lovely breakfast, you will meet new driver with his four wheel car who is going to take you in a wonderful desert excursion around sand dunes, you will visit Nomad family that still lives in tent, and you learn lot about their lifestyle, then a visit to musicien house, Gnaoua band in khamliya village as well as a nice gentle walk of the oasis in Hassi labyad town. Then drive back to the kasbah for lunch. 3,5 hours of offroad experience in Merzouga province. The rest of the day is free . Night in same accommodation Yasmina desert camp nearby kasbah, Dinner is included

Day 7: Merzouga- Skoura:

Our journey starts at 9am, back to our lovely car and Travel  throughout the gorgeous Toudra Valley, on your way, you cross dozens of désert towns such as, Erfoud, Jorf, Touroug, Tinjdad then Tinghir city where Toudra Valley is located. Few stops along the way, for café, fossils shop, lunch in Tinghir. Continue travelling west direction across large semi-desert plateaux then, drive along Dades valley and roses Valley. Possible to visit shop that sells rose products such as rose oil, rose water. Overnight in Skoura lodge, breakfast+ dinner are included.

Day 8: Skoura-Marrakech:

After your breakfast, drive via Ouarzazate city, then visit World heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou and possible to visit also women coopérative of weaving carpets before you hit the road towards Marrakech city. Lunch breakfast will be in the middle of mountains of high atlas mountains. The road becomes windy as long as you drive into mountains till you reach plains of Al haouz in Marrakech région Marrakech. Check into your Riad Al rimal. Breakfast is included.

Day 9: Marrakech discovery:

After your breakfast in your hotel, you meet the local guide who is going to show you the city of Marrakech and its beautiful monuments, visiting Bahia palace, Ben Youssef Madrasa, the secret garden then the main square Jamaa El Fnaa. Then lunch stop in one of the best restaurants in the old city of Marrakech before you walk back to your Riad Al rimal. 3 hours of visit.

Day 10: departure day:

Transfer to Menara Marrakech airport anytime you want.

Tipping is sth common in Morocco, everyone serves you expect to tip him:

• 10€ per day for driver
• 20€ for each local guide
• 15% of bill for meals that are not included.
